my hard earned FlyBuys award

Yesterday, I received the award I redeemed from my FlyBuys points. A digital kitchen scale. I've always wanted a digital kitchen scale, although I don't cook much (except during Laurent's Cooking Class), I just somehow want one.

The FlyBuys points expires after 3 years, and I, again, happened to have quite a few expiring by the end of November. So I redeemed it just before the end of November. It cost me 7500 points.

I know I could've bought myself one, but a good looking digital kitchen scale isn't cheap. The one from FlyBuys features chrome/glass design. The look is important, as we all know that.

The photo on the right is taken from FlyBuys website, the one below and the one above are shot by me with my light tent.

I guess their photo looks better.

Anyway, I will pack this kitchen scale as a Christmas gift for Laurent. Since he has a number of kitchen scales (non-digital) already, I will use this one after he opens up the nicely packed present. ;-)
