habour bridge at night

Sydney is lighting up for Christmas, Laurent and I have been out to take some photos of the special lighting on some buildings. (You can get more information about Sydney Christmas program and lighting at this website.)

I haven't finished all taking all the photos of the building lights, as the light finishes at 1am until 25 December. I will show some photos I took last night here.

The first photo in this entry is Sydney Harbour Bridge, taken with Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H9. To Don's dismay, I used the built-in 16:9 aspect ratio, which works out nicely.

Opera House, taken from Blues Point. I played around with the shutter speed.

The zooming of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H9 is surprisingly good in my opinion. The camera is much much better than my previous Canon Powershot S50.

(No cropping or any other manipulation applied on those two pictures except resizing and adding watermark.)
