disgraceful trigger-happy cop

This is about a disgraceful taxpayer funded (US) Utah Highway Patrol officer abusing his power and playing guns like playing video games. The dashboard camera recorded the entire condemnable act. (ABC News)

The victim was Jared Massey, 28. He was pulled over by a police officer John Gardner. Gardner demanded Massey to sign a traffic citation, which Jared exercised his citizen rights by refusing to sign something he did not agree on. (Massey claimed Gardner stopped him "blind" -- without a radar gun -- and that he had not yet passed a sign where says speed limit of 40 mph.)

The video above shows the disgraceful police office Gardner used Taser gun (electroshock weapon) on a law-abiding citizen (victim) who knows his rights. This shameful police officer Gardner later also threatened victim's pregnant wife. This is clearly abusing his power.

In most states, citizens have the right to know what offenses they've conducted before being arrested. Police does not have the right to threaten civilians.
To be fair to this disgraceful trigger-happy officer, the victim might have conducted a minor traffic offense. However, the treatment of tasering is undoubtedly condemnable.

Shame on John Gardner.

Police can be sued and should also be shamed.
