Election is on next Saturday, with all Australians over 18's have been threatened to vote - voting is compulsory. John Howard's $10 billion launch focused on tax giveaways, while Kevin Rudd's $2.3 billion promises are directed to what voters say they prefer, improved services. It has been one year since Steve Irwin's death, a statue was unveiled. (See this Steve Irwin tribute video on YouTube.) American researchers are closer to cloning embryos for the first time. (Not in the clip: the disgraceful Chaser knowingly trespassed Channel 7 Studio, the main guy with law background constantly denies his undoubtedly wrongdoing repeatedly.
