Hurricane Dean lashed Jamaica with 230km/h winds. Kevin Rudd was in New York as a United Nations observer, he observed something else, a strip club. "Obviously it is embarrassing. I accept responsibility for my own actions. And I make no excuses for it." Lucky passengers and crews escaped a burning China Airline jet at an airport in Japan.
