Ratatouille (Rat-a-too-ee)

Walt Disney and Pixar have a new animation - Ratatouille (Rat-a-too-ee), about the story of Rémy, a rat living in Paris who wants to be a chef. Ratatouille is coming to cinemas in Australia on 30th August. (Released in USA and Canada on 29th June, according to Wikipedia.). I saw the trailer on Apple's QuickTime website, and asked Laurent to include Ratatouille into his restaurant menu. He agreed.

Today, he let me cooked Ratatouille, the food of course.

Laurent (he's a chef) taught me how to make ratatouille, it is quite easy to prepare. For those who don't know what ratatouille looks like, here's the photo. I added a cheese to the dish to make it more interesting. Ratatouille itself does not come with cheese, and I don't have Swiss cheese. (I have no idea why mice in cartoons like Swiss cheese.)

Ratatouille (with cheese):

No rats were harmed or killed in the production of ratatouille dish.
