Bastille Day at La Perouse
14th July is the French revolution day, commonly known as Bastille Day. I joined Laurent to celebrate this day in La Perouse, south-eastern Sydney. La Perouse is named after a French captain Jean-François La Pérouse, he landed in Australia on 26 Jan 1788, a few days after Caption Cook. Sometime the following year, he and his men disappeared.

What a shame the cam was so far away and doesn't show you nice new warm Australian wool coat to its' best advantage. Obviously no an excellent photographer like your good self! Also no inscriptions visible on that monument. Could be anywhere?
