Beckham is coming to Sydney

Maybe he's not the world's best soccer player, but he certainly is the most famous one. David Beckham will play in Sydney later this year. Beckham's new team, La Galaxy, will meet Sydney FC in an exhibition match with the date to change if the superstar is injured.

From Manchester United to England and Real Madrid, now with American League team LA Galaxy, his first overseas assignment will be against Sydney FC at Telstra Stadium on 27 November. The tickets will go on sale later this month, and the entire event hinges on Beckham's appearance. Soccer officials say they can postpone if he's injured.

It is said that NSW Government has contributed to bring the world's biggest name in football to Sydney.

Depending on the cost of the ticket, I might get one. I am not a soccer/football fan I have to say.

Posh may not be here though.
