why I need a labelling tool

Some of you may remember I bought a labeller, Brother P-touch 1280, about 3 weeks ago. It's one of the handiest tools I've ever bought. You will see why in the picture below.

I don't think I need to mention much more, there are simply too many power cords, and cables (mainly USB cables) going around there. I haven't tidied them up I know, as I still haven't got my ADSL connection back. Almost everything is still quite messy. I do have cable ties and cable organising products. I will tidy up all those cables once I get my ADSL connection.

Why is labelling power cords and cables so important? I certainly don't want to unplug the wrong power cord, and although most of them won't get unplugged often once settled down, but some of them will, and from time to time, I have to recharge my mobile phone and camera.

From the picture above, you can see there are two 6-outlet power boards, and they are pretty full. I have another 6-outlet power boards in the other side of the room, currently for phone and ADSL modem.

The only thing with labeller is the tape cartridge is not cheap. Laurent and I have just finished the sample cartridge.
