talk about advertising, Linkworth

LinkworthWell, most people hate advertising on web sites just like they hate commercials on TVs. Personally, I don't hate commercials (on TV) that much as I know it keeps the free-to-air television running.

In SillyDog701 Message Centre, I know a few 'unethical' members, they block every single online ads they can, especially, those so called open-source 'extremists'. To best of my observation, university/college students consist a very huge portion of active Firefox users, and a huge amount of them demands everything open-source and free. Some of them even go one step further on blocking every single ads on websites they can. I highly doubt if they cut off advertisements on newspapers and magazines they bought. It's kind of 'unethical' in my opinion.

Here's one thing, advertising keeps things free (or lowers the price) to end users.

When I first started getting advertisements, I started with the famous Google AdSense. It's content related, in a kind of non-annoying way. It is not that bad, but of course those open-source extremists know how to block Google AdSense easily just like blocking images for certain sites since Google AdSense is JavaScript based. It then comes to my mind that I need to put some ads that can't be blocked easily (to be fair to advertisers), and the solution is text-based link advertising.

Text Link Advertising is a good way to boost up search results (although not immediately) since the link is image based from ads-serving sites, and not JavaScript based which do not get indexed by crawlers well. If you are a company or a website that you want to increase the traffic, Linkworth is a great place to start your search engine marketing. They don't just offer text-based links, but also a number of other services such as LinkWords, LinkBB, LinkPost to increase search engine result of your site.

If you have a website and you want to make money online, you can also give Linkworth a try. I've been with Linkworth (www.linkworth.com) for quite a while, it worked very well for me and I am very happy with Linkworth. Better than Google AdSense, as the income does not rely on the number of clicks you receive.
