Scientists have discovered a new leopard species, found in Borneo (Malaysia). The new leopard features a different type of spot, clouded actually.

The cat, covered in small cloud markings containing many spots, was thought to be the same species as a mainland Southeast Asian leopard, but the genetic research results clearly indicate the clouded leopards should be a separate species.
