Barack Obama made the news in Australia
I don't usually talk about politics (and not into it), but Mr Barack Obama made the news in this morning's Weekend Sunrise. Not for his politics, but for being the first black US presidential candidate.
According to US Census, the percentage of African American is 12.12%. Of all 42 US presidents so far, none is black. Statistically speaking there should have been 5 US presidents of African American ethic background. In current TV series 24 (season 6), the US President David Palmer is black.
