R.I.P. Tom

Last night, John contacted me about the sad news of HRH Prince Tom, a beautiful and a lovely cat. Tom passed away.

Thomas was fine last Thursday, on Saturday, he wasn't well. He did not eat much of his food, and did not move much. Tom wasn't well on Monday night either, but eat a bit. I visited him yesterday morning, he did not move much at all. The vet believed that Thomas had a stroke, and put him into sleep last night. Although Tom was not my cat, I've spent a considerable amount of time with him.

I attended Tom's interment last night. It was the first ever burial I've ever attended. I attended one funeral service when I was a kid, but not the interment. It was the first time I saw the body being buried in front of me. In the past few years, I had been seeing Tom about 2 to 3 times a week, and I had been looking after him when John was away. Somehow I knew I was attached to Tom.

I create a slideshow with iPhoto from Tom's photos I took. I will give it to John later today as a tribute to HRH Prince Tom.
