I was born in Taiwan. I am actually NZ Citizen, in Australia, I am being treated as Australia permanent resident (except I don't get to vote).
As for my living style, I eat and live pretty much the Australian/New Zealand way. (I don't even own a rice cooker.)

Seriously, most of the people are English not Australian so neither of us can gauge in what they are going through. Honestly though i can tell that their country is being affected by radical-muslims far more than Australia does, and i know Australia is having a big problem already. Melbourne and Sydney are like opposites. Half the things i hear about the lebanese/australian community i can't even imagine. Personally feeding people's anger will not help. It's just going to increase tension and friction between the two communities and slow the process of integration down.. I'm sure there are plenty of muslims that are growing out of their adolescent stage causing rebellion and finally want to settle down, have kids, live on without trouble etc...I remember us south-east asians when we were going through the assimulation transition..when we were just adapting into the changing culture...
