Today's big news, Saddam Hussein was hanged. I saw the news today in a shopping mall. A leader has been hanged, he was sentenced by a count under strong US-influence.

Sir William Wallace (Braveheart), a Scottish knight, he loved his country, and fought against the English occupation during Wars of Scottish Independence. He was captured. He was drawn and quartered (strangled by hanging but released near death, genital cut off, guts removed and his bowels burnt before him, beheaded, then cut into four parts).

In comparison, Saddam Hussein, an Iraqi President. He fought for his country during US-led invasion. He failed, and was captured by his America. He was hanged.

Both fought for their countries, both failed and both were captured their enemies. Both of them were hanged.

William Wallace was considered as a patriot. Saddam Hussein is being labelled as a vicious dictator. I don't think the history will give him any good reputation any time soon.

Saddam Hussein's primary charges were the killings of 148 Shias in the town of Dujail. Those people in Dujail attempted assassinate Saddam Hussein on 8th July 1982. They failed. What western media forgot to focus that they attempted to kill their president, which make them traitors. Death for traitors sounds fair to me.
