ImageWell 3, easier and faster than Photoshop

I've been using Photoshop Elements for years, I bought Photoshop Elements not long after I got my first Mac. The main reason I use Photoshop Elements is that I am not a Photoshop expert, and I don't see the need of having full-blown Photoshop. And I do know many non-Photoshop experts would try to get full Photoshop, but that's not me.

Jack Lin of applewoods recommended me ImageWell in the past. I only gave it a brief test in before. Earlier this week, I got the news of ImageWell 3, and decided to give it a try. My impression... it's quick and easy to use. It does almost everything I need on graphics.

ImageWell is a small, but powerful, image editing application that lets you quickly resize, crop, watermark, edit your images and then upload them to the web, save to your computer or email them to a friend. ImageWell also lets you annotate your images with text, shapes, arrows and lines, quickly and easily. And it doesn't stop there - add a drop shadow, a shaped border, flip or rotate your image, take screenshots, and much more.

I have say that ImageWell is not designed to compete with Photoshop. It does almost everything I need, except blurring filter I used often. It's fast, really fast, and it's Universal. (Okay, Adobe has just released Photoshop CS3 Beta.)
