21 October, 2006new iMac and EyeTV 2.3.2
The Picture-in-Picture (PiP) is interesting. I can two two recorded programmes in PiP mode, or one live TV and one recorded show. However according to this FAQ, You must have a Live TV window and a recording window open, two Live TV windows or two recordings windows. Control+Shift+P or choose Picture in Picture from the View menu. This will enable PiP.It mentions "two Live TV windows". How do I open two live TV windows? A brief report of EyeTV 2.3.2 on MacCentre701 is available.
I've been doing more video editing and converting recently, and Power Mac G4 is somehow getting slower. So I need a new Mac. Actually, I wanted a compact machine, like the Mac mini. However, after some consideration, it's not powerful enough to suit my need. Mac mini I've ordered it and it should be arrive in about two weeks time. (Ordering is slow in Australia, particularly if you do a build-to-order. Thanks to SillyDog701 members on helping me making a decision. Disadvantage of an iMac? It's a lot heavier than then Mac mini. Hard to carry around. related article: Posted by Antony on 21 October 2006 8:41 AM

I just installed the upgrade myself. It's great to finally have an EPG. I've got the EyeTV Analog on a Mac Mini. Can't pick up Channel 9 on digital hence to view that we use analog.

Hello Chris,
Thanks for providing the heads-up. According to this FAQ, currently, this feature is experimental. I'd guess that you can try to open a live TV first, then, change the preference (device choice) to open another live TV. (guessing only, I don't have two units.)
OR, it should work for Miglia's new TVDuo or Elgato's new EyeTV Diversity. This is best I know, I hope I had defined answer.

iMac is a nice machine, I've recently got one as well. It is in addition to a Mac Mini Duo and I believe it was the next step up in the product line.
Very very happy.
