Monopoly Here & Now Electronic Edition, part 2

Monopoly vs Monopoly Here and Now
Continued from yesterday's Monopoly Here & Now entry. Let's look close about the difference:

Monopoly movers

The standard Monopoly comes with following tokens (movers): thimble, sack of money, iron, hat, battleship, racing car, cannon, shoe, dog, wheelbarrow, and horse and rider.

Monopoly Here and Now movers

The Monopoly Here and Now Edition comes with following tokens (movers): London bus, mobile phone, hamburger, skateboard, roller blade, racing car, and an aeroplane.

And the picture you've been waiting for...
Monopoly money vs Monopoly debit cards.

Thanks God, unlike the official picture, the Monopoly banker unit and debit cards do NOT carry "Visa" logo.

Other major difference? It's in UK Pounds (). When you pass Go, you collect 2M (2 million Pounds) instead of $200. Well, the land and building costs have also adjusted with inflection over the last 70 years... The cheapest land Portobello Road Market (was called Old Kent Road) is now 600k (was $60), and the most expensive land The City (was called Mayfair) is now 4M (was $400). Instead of Railways, they are Airports. Utilities? No more Electric Company and Water Works, they are now Telecoms and The Sun (Satellite).

If you are good at math, you should notice all the values are actually stay the same ratio, the new value is simply 10,000 times of the old value, and change the currency from dollar ($) to pound ().

Anyone want to play Monopoly with me?

The uk version was in pounds() not dollars($) before anyway.

It seems that the phone home feature was time limited and it doesn't do that any more. Whether this means that the DOJ has backdoors in all common operating systems or just a way of adding secret scripts to PDF documents is unknown at this time.
