Today is the day of "666" (06-06-06).

What is 666? "Devil's number". Beware of today!

Wikipedia has some interesting notes on the number 666.

666 is an abundant number. It is the sum of the squares of the first seven prime numbers.
Since 36 is both square and triangular, 666 is the sixth number of the form n²(n² + 1) / 2 (triangular squares) and the eighth number of the form n(n + 1)(n² + n + 2) / 8 (doubly triangular numbers.)

I think the number 666 has its roots somewhere in the Book of Revelation, somehow concerning the apocalypse, though I'm not entirely certain how. I still have five hours to go before the day... and horribly enough to note, I have to take two final exams that day! (Thankfully, I am not superstitious. I'd also like to cite that there was a day with the same numerical date a thousand years ago, yet we're still around.)
