31 March, 2006Noah's Ark costs 1 million euro
Johan Huibers, a Dutchman who wants to teach children about the Bible, is building a working replica of Noah's Ark. He plans to set sail from Schagen (45km north of Amsterdam) to Dutch canal system in September this year. Just like what's said in the Bible, he will carry animals with him. Well, he will need about 100,000 visitors to cover the nearly one million euros ($1.7 million) cost for this project. And I only hope when he starts the sailing there won't be a Great Flood that lasts about 220 days, although Australia needs more rain, but not that much. Unless all those rain are in the middle of Australia. News article: Posted by Antony on 31 March 2006 9:06 AM
