Jesse Metcalfe, best known for his role- John Rowland in Desperate Housewives, a gardener who had secret affair with Gabrielle Solis, is coming to Sydney and Melbourne for 10 days for the D and D ball

HEDGE-clipping hottie Jesse Metcalfe, known to drooling Desperate Housewives fans as the hunky teenage gardener of Wisteria Lane, is heading to Sydney.

He's 27, he's single and we hope he's serious when he says he's keen to "party" when he comes to Australia.
Metcalfe, known to Desperate fans as John, is heading our way as ambassador of the Desperate and Dateless ball which will tour the country in February.

He will headline the Melbourne and Sydney balls, spreading his 10 days in Australia between the two cities. Metcalfe has been wanting to come to Australia for many years but only just got a break in filming, Confidential was told.

He will tour Australia with a mate to keep him company should he luck on finding his own desperate date.

Ball organisers are hoping, and can pretty well be guaranteed, for an increase in female ticket sales with news the star is coming out. "If the chicks don't start buying, there will be a lot of lonely men on D and D night," a spokeswoman said.

The D and D ball hits Sydney's Luna Park on February 25 with tickets on sale now at danddball.com.au.

Dark and handsome he might score a perfect 1o, but in terms of personality, he scores in the negative. I recently stayed at hotel where Jesse frequented. As a model, with an MBA from Harvard Business School, I will let all you ladies know this guy is not what you think. He actually had the audacity to put a match out in my drink and then asked me why I looked so shocked!!! This is the LAST guy I would lust after...he's only an A-List jerk!!!!!!!!!
