my iPod is not functioning
Bad news, I can't use my iPod. When I came home tonight, I tried to switch on my iPod, but it won't play any songs. So I restarted it.
After restarting it, it showed Apple logo for a few seconds then the Folder and Exclamation mark (as shown on the right). As the usual step, I reset the iPod. It turns out to be the same, an Apple logo showed for a few seconds then the folder and exclamation mark. I followed the Apple Support article, the reset failed. I could not update the software, and I can't restore it.
I called Apple Support, and the solution is to send my iPod to service. Lucky I bought AppleCare Protection Plan for iPod.

This is what I receive when I plug my iPod to my Mac. The Mac can't recognise my iPod.
I managed to click the "Restore," and I received following:
Resetting my iPod does not help. I can't restore it...
I will send my iPod to my local Apple service centre, if I have time. I knew buying AppleCare Protection Plan was a wise choice.
