Desperate Housewives on iTunes

Desperate Housewives in iTunes Yes, I've just downloaded the first episode of Desperate Housewives from iTunes. It costs me US$1.99. A good deal for TV episodes.

I can choose all episodes of Desperate Housewives including the latest episode.

The video can be play inside iTunes, in its own window, and in full screen. The quality in full screen is not as good as H.264 trailers or DVDs but is very impressive.

Now, I only wish I had faster internet connection.

The video bought from iTunes is encoded in AAC (protected), stereo, 44.1kHz, same as the songs bought from iTunes music store. Video is using AVC0 Media (320x240, million of colours). I am not exactly sure what AVC0 format is, but H.264 is also called MPEG-4 Part 10, and is part of AVC technology.

AVC stands for Advanced Video Coding.

Yes, it's very cool. BUT... it's now Tuesday 11/1, and the episode which aired Sunday 10/30 is STILL not on the store. :(
