Housewives beats Lost
According to Desperatefans.org, Desperate Housewives season two premiere had much higher rating than LOST.
Well done Housewives!
Ratings Report: Desperate Housewives season two premiere drew in 28.2 million. LOST was close behind in its premiere with 23.5 million viewers (which, reportedly, is the shows largest audience thus far. Way to go LOST!)
As for Australian rating, it was not just the highest rating for TV premiere, but also beats the broadcasting of Pope John Paul II's funeral.
