Rush Murry, Podcast, phishing now officially English words
According to BBC News, words like "Ruby Murray","chav", "Podcast", "phishing", "chugger", "lush" are now officially English words (or with new meanings).
Two years ago, I reported bling-bling was added to Oxford English Dictionary, and once the word goes into Oxford Dictionary, it rarely got dropped.
So, Rush Murry is a rhyming slang for a curry; chav is a derogatory word to describe a "young lower-class person typified by brash and loutish behaviour and the wearing of [real or imitation] designer clothes"; lush means very good; chugger is a person who approaches passers-by in the street looking for donations or subscriptions to a charity (a mixture of charity and mugger).
I guess we all know what "Podcast" and "phishing" are
