Are you a Desperate Housewives fan? If you are, I bet you won't miss any gossips about Desperate Housewives. May issue of Vanity Fair features the behind the theme of Wisteria Lane - “Housewife Confidential: The Real-Life Soap Opera Behind TV's Hottest Show (You Wouldn't Believe What It Took Just To Get This Photo!)”

There isn't just the lives of the women of Wisteria Lane to monitor closely - there's the lives of the ladies who play them which, according to a number of reports, consist of catfights, bratty behaviour and salary disputes.

But while the show's creator and executive producer, Marc Cherry, admits the mood on set is not always bright and breezy, he does not believe it is something that predominantly describes the relationship of the Desperate Housewives cast and crew.

Which gossip should I listen to? I don't really care, but I will watch Desperate Housewives every Monday night.

Magazines have suggested Marcia Cross is fed up with Hatcher acting like a prima donna, showing up late for tapings and trying to offer other actors advice during their scenes.

It's also been reported Cross is furious Hatcher refused to join her and co-stars Felicity Huffman, Nicollette Sheridan and Eva Longoria in negotiating for a group pay rise.

Apparently Hatcher preferred to hold salary talks independently.
