No iTunes Music Store for Oz
No iTunes Music Store for Australia, yet.
Earlier this month, AppleTalk Australia stated iTMS Australia: 26th October? on 21st Oct. They were some how not so happy that I asked why "26th October". Their prediction were based on one of the Financial Review article. It turns out no iTunes Music Store (iTMS) for Australia.
EU gets its iTunes store (Sydney Morning Herald, 27 Oct 2004)
An Apple Australia spokesperson said there was no word on when iTunes would be launched in Australia.The spokesperson said it depended on when arrangements could be finalised with the music companies which would be involved.
Asked whether the Australian Copyright Act was getting in the way of the launch, the spokesperson said: "We're not even getting into that."
