that's how we communicate in my flat

Around half pass ten last night, I was in my room. One of the Indian girls walked heavily up, and closed the windows with excessive force. Two windows in the bath room were closed very loud. I could hear that from my room, so did another girl, Winnie, from her room.

The problem? I am the one wanting to keep window open for better air in the house. And she was the one complaining about the cold. It is true that this house is quite cold, but it's not that cold. I wear less clothes than her. As for the bathroom's one. To me, it is very important to keep them open at all time, especially during and after shower. That's kind of common sense.

She closed the window really loud. So, this morning, I woke up early. Right after she had her shower, I used the bathroom. The first thing in the bathroom was of course to open the window loudly. She was in her room right next to the bathroom. And she knew what was that for.

She was not happy that I keep windows open, and I was not happy she closes all the windows. We don't need to talk directly, just by the way we open or close the window.

That's the way we communicate in my flat.
