I received following email from university's network admin,

Please take note of the vilnerabilities on MS Windows reported on
Microsoft Windows Security Bulletin Summary for February 2004

Please update your OS if you have done so.

Okay, I will limit my rant this time, but I would like to remind you that Microsoft only admins there were security flows and vulnerabilities in their softwares once they have patches available. This serious vulnerability took Microsoft six (6) months to acknowledge it. (eEye Digital's report)

It is not hard to notice that early versions of Windows were removed from their security support list.
