scheduling an Online Chat?

It’s close to end of the year. This year has been again a challenging year for SillyDog701. It seems logic that we should have an online chat, as we did in year 2002.

The date is (sat/sun) 13th/14th December 2003 depending on the time zone. The actual time is most likely to be the usual time slot. Same venue, of course. It is just that I haven’t got time to announce such online chat, I’ve been with my work, and a new system plus a whole new section for SillyDog701.

The new system integrates blogging system into SillyDog701. It has been installed, now in testing stage. Together with a new structure and a whole new layout are on their way. I am planning to give people a surprise near Christmas, if I can get those done. If not, you will need to wait until 2004. Either way, they are coming, and I am really busy.

Well, firstly, I was not happy this morning after I checked Message Centre. Why? Someone posted a thread asking for an End of Year online chat. (The thread is now locked and moved to JunkRoom, only Moderators have access to it.)

Let me point out that, it is good someone want to organise an online chat, I support that idea. Some people is trying to help, which is good for SillyDog701 Community.

However, there are few things wrong...

1. I've scheduled an online chat, the date has set. The problem is that such information is not available to public. I’ve been busy. Such post wasn’t needed.

2. I don’t need him to help me schedule the chat. Why not? Well, it’s better not him. From past experience, he attempted to schedule one online chat, but did no inputs on deciding actual date and time. It showed me lack of organisation skills.

3. He only attended one online chatting session, recall from my memory. He was talking nothing during that session, except reminding me broken links in Netscape Browser Archive haven’t been fixed.

4. Most importantly, check your message before submit. If you want to invite other people to join any function, don’t have stupid spelling errors. “Is any body internested in ahving an end of the year chat.” What the hell is that?
Typed too fast again? The word “internested” repeated again in the body of message.
This is getting annoying to me. I am not asking everyone to speak good English. I, myself, can't speak English either. However, all messages got to be in certain standard. Posts with lots of spelling errors and grammatical error would simply lower down the grade and ranking of SillyDog701.

5. I am the webmaster of SillyDog701. It should be either me or any of the Moderators to suggest or schedule a SillyDog701 Online Chatting. Not from someone who lacks of common sense. Not from someone who keeps posting junk in the forums.

6. I will make an announcement about the End of Year Online Chat. I will. I've been busy. I of course need to write something nice for the announcement. I don't post junk, and SillyDog701 Message Centre is clearly not for posting junk.

And this stupid thing made into my first personal blog.
